The best time to photograph your newborn is within the first 3 weeks of life, as this is when they are still in their adorable, curled-up “womb position,” creating those heart-melting, squishy photos. However, we understand that life doesn’t always go according to plan, which is why we offer newborn photography sessions for babies up to 10 weeks old.

Please note that if your baby is older than 3 weeks, they may be more alert, and their poses may not be as curled up. However, they will still be incredibly cute and full of personality, resulting in stunning, timeless images that capture their unique beauty.

Each newborn session is tailored to your personal style, and our professional studio is equipped with a wide range of props, including wraps, outfits, headwear, and much more to perfectly suit your little one.

Our Newborn Photography Sessions Include:

• Family and sibling photos: We love capturing the bond between your newborn and loved ones, so all our full newborn sessions include family and sibling images alongside individual newborn portraits.
• 2-3 hour session time: Newborn sessions typically last 2-3 hours to ensure we capture every precious moment without rushing.

Maternity/ Tummy/Sitter/Older Children and Family Sessions.

Maternity Photography

Maternity sessions are ideally scheduled between 30-36 weeks gestation to beautifully capture the glow of pregnancy. These sessions can include your partner and/or children, allowing you to share this special moment together.

Tummy & Sitter Sessions

• Tummy Sessions are perfect for babies around 3-4 months old, showcasing their adorable expressions and early milestones.
• Sitter Sessions are designed for babies who can sit independently, usually before they begin crawling. These sessions highlight their growing personalities and cute interactions.

Family & Older Child Sessions

We also offer family and older child sessions in our studio, where we use a variety of creative backdrops. These sessions focus on a combination of structured and natural posing to ensure you have photos that will be cherished for a lifetime.

What is Print Credit?

If your collection comes with print credit you can spend it towards Baby Snapz exclusive high end products from prints, canvas, glass blocks, wood prints, wooden bloxes and our gorgeous albums. Also available to purchase separately.

Terms and conditions

Baby Snapz requires a $100 non-refundable deposit to confirm booking. Dates are not confirmed until deposit is paid. Deposit can be transferred to another session or time if 48 hours notice is given prior to session. Deposit will come off balance and remainder of balance will be due on day payable by cash, eftpos, credit card or Afterpay.
